Extensively Trained Orthopedic Surgeon Dr Eugene Wong Earns Recognition in The Leading Physicians of the World

Dr. Wong is a seasoned orthopedic surgeon whose expertise in spine surgery is matched only by a handful of specialists in the field. He tends to his patients at the OrthoNeuroSpine & Pain Institute in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The practice is a cutting-edge facility offering diagnosis and treatment for cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacral, and sacroiliac spine issues, as well as non-operative and operative management, comprehensive, compassionate, and holistic care, and a multidisciplinary biopsychosocial approach. Dr. Wong has a special interest in spine-hip syndrome cases and is trained in hip arthroscopy and minimally invasive anterior total hip replacement. The goal at OrthoNeuroSpine and Pain Institute is to “maximize function through muscle preservation and spinal strengthening. We have a state-of-the-art program that targets the spinal muscles. Dr. Wong received his bachelor’s degree of medicine and his bachelor’s degree of surgery in 1999. He additionally completed a fellowship in spine surgery at NUH in Singapore, Adelaide and Melbourne in Australia, as well as in the United States. His second fellowship was in orthopedic trauma surgery and he conducted his training in Melbourne, Australia. In order to remain within the scope of his challenging medical field, he maintains his membership with the Malaysian Medical Association, Academy of Medicine Malaysia, SICOT, American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA), North American Spine Society (NASS), American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and Orthopaedic Research Society.
